Total Joint Replacement Surgery takes a stiff, painful, poorly functioning joint and replaces the badly worn joint surfaces with a smooth, metal, ceramic or plastic leaving a pain free joint with near normal motion and function. Joint replacement surgery is performed predominantly on the knee, hip and shoulder joint but on occasion at the elbow and ankle joint.

Our surgeons have performed thousands joint replacement procedures and have obtained fellowship training in Joint Replacement Surgery and use the latest technology. We continue to search for improvements that will offer each patient a long lasting result that gives pain relief and restores near normal function. For most patients, Total Knee or Hip Replacement will be required due to the extent of their arthritis but for some patients unicompartment (mini knee) knee replacement or resurfacing of the hip may be recommended.

At Mulroy Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, we have been performing Total Joint Replacement surgery for over 20 years. Our staff will be happy to arrange a consultation for you. Please call 1-508-478-7135 to make an appointment
